An Evening with Elise Cole, Stand-up Comic
Thursday, August 17, 2023, 7:30 p.m., $20
Elise Cole is an Iranian-Jewish stand-up comedian who has headlined at House of Comedy and other venues. She is the youngest child in her blended Persian-Jewish and Irish-Catholic family. She treads the strange abyss between Jews and Catholics, Gen-X and Millennials, marriage and motherhood. Her debut album,
Real Hot Dumb Dumbs, explores the challenges of parenting and stand up in the fluid landscape of the 21st century. Join us for a new experience at Six Points Theater as we ride the roller-coaster of life, marriage, motherhood, and being Jewish. With Elise will be emcee Robert Baril, a nationally touring headliner hailed by the Star Tribune as “the sharpest political commentator [in] the Twin Cities” and special guest Jesse Jacobs, a new dad, a doctor by day and a rising comedic star by night!
